On-Demand Handyman

Stuff I've Done. And Can Do Again.

I provide handyman services throughout the Bitterroot Valley, from Darby and Hamilton to Corvallis, Victor, Stevensville, Florence, and Lolo.

Since 1986, I've been inventing things, fixing things, building things, installing things, and occasionally wondering what the last guy was thinking.

Here's some of what I've done over the years. It's not everything, and if you don't see your project, don't assume I can't help.

Around the House

Drywall repairs, doors, windows, flooring, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, shelving, cabinets, hardware, and the little things that need attention.

I've worked on fancy homes, modest homes, rentals, and everything in between. Some jobs take a few days. Others take an afternoon and a little patience.

Around the Ranch & Property

I'm a cattle rancher. I've built livestock shelters, feeders, sheds, and hoop houses. I've installed and repaired miles of fencing, adjusted gates, cleared downed trees, and spent plenty of time on a tractor and skid steer.

I've kept my cattle where they belong for years, with only one elk-assisted escape.

I have a love/hate relationship with elk.

Keeping Things Working

Seasonal maintenance, rental turnovers, worn caulk, sticking doors, loose railings, damaged trim, cabinet adjustments, and repairs that keep little problems from becoming expensive ones.

Got a list? I can make it shorter.

Things That Need Installing

Doors, windows, shelving, appliances, weather stations, security cameras, Starlink satellite internet equipment, Wi-Fi networking equipment, fixtures, and hardware.

Some things come with instructions. Some come with instructions that make you question the people who wrote them.

Things We Haven't Thought of Yet

Chicken coops, greenhouses, hoop houses, raised beds, firewood shelters, workbenches, custom storage, odd jobs, and projects that start with a rough sketch or an idea.

I enjoy figuring things out.

I Know What I Don't Know.

I'm a generalist, not a general contractor, licensed electrician, or licensed plumber. I don't take work requiring ladders taller than 12 feet, and I won't pretend to have skills or qualifications I don't.

If your project needs a specialist, I'll tell you.

Not sure? Call Joe.

Tell me what needs doing. We'll quickly figure out if I'm the right guy.
